Rules for Competition

 

1.  Decisions of judges are FINAL.

 

2.   Adult categories must have a minimum of 5 entries or categories may be combined.  Junior division requires a minimum of 4 entries.

 

3.   Dancer must make all Grand Entries to be eligible for Grand Entry points.

 

4.   Disqualification will result from mis-representing age.  Proof may be required.

 

5.   All prize money will be paid after close of Pow Wow on Sunday.

 

6.   Winners must be in full Regalia to collect prize money for photograph, for the upcoming years program.  Tiny Tots will be photographed but are not required to be in Regalia.

 

7.   Dinner break for dancers Saturday will be at 4:30 p.m.  Dinner is served to registered dancers and their families only. 

 

8.   No alcohol or drugs are allowed on Pow Wow grounds.

 

9.   No pets are allowed.

 

10.                Trail of Tears Commission, Inc., reserves the right to photograph any dancer in competition and use for educational/publicity purpose only.

 

11.                Grand Entry is scheduled as followed:

                  Saturday 11:30 noon

                  Saturday 6:00 p.m.

                  Sunday 1:00 p.m.
